No one is as ungrateful as the British. They copy the techniques of developments of various civilizations yet never give them their rightful credits. The irony is they boast about the rule of law as supreme but they seldom follow the law when acquiring or inhabiting other countries. Getting into someone's territory and exploiting them with force and finally subsuming that territory as theirs by having all kinds of control is the worst form of Dictatorship under the name of Rule of Law.
Law is always universally the same for everyone and making it a tool to fulfill the vested interests is never ever acceptable. We are taught to focus on the developments that they did for us but we are never taught that those so-called developments were done to satisfy their own interests for those who dwelled here and ruled India. Well, I can say without an ounce of doubt that if it were possible for them to take away all infrastructural developments that they did here, they would have done that without even a second thought.
India lost its glory not because it was ruled by others but because people became so patient with the wrongs and injustice that it took nearly 200 years to rectify that. India is, was, and always will remain a strong-willed nation only if we the people of India remain undeterred by foreign influences and never bow down when it is a matter of our self-respect.
