Heaven sent an angel on a visit to the earth. Once God had told her how beautifully he has designed it. The angel was really looking forward to this journey.

She first wanted to take a look at 'God's own country'- Kerala. The angel was mesmerized by the scenic view she saw from the sky, could not stop praising the Almighty for it. She got down and started taking a stroll.

Suddenly she saw a pregnant elephant was roaming, probably in search of food. A bunch of people came towards her and gave her a pineapple. "Wow! The earth is exactly how God had described. Goodness and love have spread all around." She said to herself. 

When the elephant was cherishing the pineapple happily, some of them from the crowd murmured- "Now It will be fun when the crakers will burst inside her stomach." and they laughed demonically.

The angel got shocked hearing that, wanted to stop the mishap, but alas!! it was late already.

The elephant rushed to the water body nearby and stood there, probably wanted a bit of relief from the excruciating pain. The angel went near her, came out of disguise, and told, " I can cast a spell and save you. Just repeat after me whatever I say."

The elephant asked - "Can you save my baby??" Hope sparkled in her eyes.

Angel responded despondently- "No dear. She has already died in your womb. I can't give life to the dead. I am not that powerful. I am sorry."

Elephant burst into tears said- "Then let me die. You know, I could feel her bouncing inside me with happiness when I saw the food. It was all my mistake. I failed to notice there was something wrong in the fruit."

Angel- "It was not your mistake, my dear. You have been deceived. They killed you just for their fun sake. "

Elephant found it hard to believe, said - "They might have failed to notice too. They can't do it purposefully. They are humans."

Angel - I too considered them as humans, but they are not. They have lost humanity and turned into demons. Look! They are enjoying while you are burning here in pain. Not even a hint of shame on their faces after their barbaric act !!

The elephant sighed, said - When you will return to heaven, don't tell the God whatever you have witnessed here.

Angel- But why?? 

Elephant- It will sadden him deeply. He must not have expected his best creature to behave this way. 

Angel- Yes. This will make him sad, but he needs to know. It's not the time for a 'heaven-sent angel' anymore. Now the time has come for him to incarnate on earth, and save it from these demons.

The elephant closed her eyes as she was counting her last breath. The Angel sobbed like a child holding her helplessly. She said - "I don't think if I can visit the earth anymore"
